Remember that Ginger is sometimes away at a Faire and it may take "a wee bit" for her to get back to you.
Ginger has developed and refined her dress patterns for over 8 years. They are not, however, a perfectly tailored garment. Bodacious? No problem! The bodice part of the dress is tight, supportive even. In fact, half of the girls just skip their bra.
Ginger's Size Chart will help you determine what size tights or velvet dress you need.
If you want to try on some tights or a velvet dress before you buy, you will need to visit the Faire Pair booth at one of the Renaissance Faires on Ginger's schedule. Ginger also has additional colors and exotic prints at her booth that are not available through her web site.
As the soles of the feet in footed tights typically wear through quite quickly it is strongly recommended that you let socks take the abuse. Since Faire Pair tights fit up to a 36 inch inseam, there is usually enough length in the leg to pull down over your foot and hide your socks.
If you really, really, must have them, footed tights can be made. However, be prepared to pay an extra fee as these will be truly custom tights; both your exact inseam and shoe size are required. Please email Ginger first if you want to order footed tights.
Velvet dresses can be machine washed in warm or cold water. Line dry only. Wash alone (best) or with like colors the first time since the color may "bleed" slightly.
Be careful when using nail polish remover or other products of that nature around your tights or velvet dresses; nylon and velvet tights and dresses can be dissolved by products containing acetate! Nylon and acetate are components in many nail polishes, especially those that offer extra strength for weak nails. Nail polish remover that is strong enough to remove these polishes will also dissolve tights made of nylon and acetate.
