Faire Pair tights are available in 6 different fabrics and a variety of colors. Specialty tights such as Ultras (tights with stretch lace side panels), 6 Panels (tights with 3 colors per leg), and nylon and cotton prints are only available at events where Faire Pair has a booth. Fabrics Cotton Faire Pair's basic tights are made of medium to heavy weight stretch cotton Lycra™. Nylon "Satin look" tights are made of a nylon/Lycra™ blend. This is the same type of material that swimwear and cycling shorts are made of. Crushed (Panne) Velvet "Fabulous" The material used for Crushed Velvet tights is a 4-way stretch nylon, acetate and Lycra™ blend. This gives a very rich look without sacrificing fit and comfort. Crushed Velvet is a dry and surprizingly breezy fabric. Liquid (Uncrushed) Velvet "Fabulous" Liquid Velvet is the same 4-way stretch nylon, acetate and Lycra™ blend as Panne Velvet. The difference is in the finishing of the material. Liquid Velvet is softer to the touch and has a liquid-like shimmer, hence the name "Liquid Velvet." This is the coolest and breeziest of the fabrics. Crushed Lux Velvet "Good" Crushed Lux Velvet is a 2-way stretch, poly and Lycra™ blend. There is some lateral stretch, but much less than with the Crushed Velvet. Less stretch and a little less expensive, but Black is available. Liquid Lux Velvet "Good" Liquid Lux Velvet is the same 2-way, poly and Lycra™ blend as Crushed Lux Velvet. Less stretch and a little less expensive than Liquid Velvet, but Black is available. Please note that due to differences in stretch and material, fabric types cannot be mixed. Styles Solid Solid color tights are available in cotton, nylon, crushed velvet and liquid velvet. 4 Panel (Quarter Panel) Four panel tights have 2 colors per leg in an alternating pattern.
